Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and West Coast Digital Ventures LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of Sendero Coaching, including any associated websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Service Description

Sendero Coaching is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables health and wellness coaches to:

  • Create and assign protocols (habits, supplements, workouts, nutrition, and custom items) to clients
  • Connect to supported wearable devices via OAuth authentication to pull client health data
  • Automatically verify protocol compliance using wearable device data
  • View client compliance dashboards with weekly adherence metrics
  • Use AI-powered natural language queries to get insights from client data
  • Facilitate daily client check-ins for protocol items not automatically verified
  • Track progress trends and generate reports

Supported Integrations

The Service currently supports or plans to support integrations with: Oura Ring, Strava, WHOOP, Garmin Connect, Keto-Mojo, and Apple Health. Availability of specific integrations may change without notice. "Coming Soon" integrations are planned features and are not guaranteed.

The wellness data, insights, AI-generated responses, and coaching provided through Sendero Coaching are for informational and educational purposes only. This information is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any decisions about your health, starting any new health program, or if you have concerns about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information received through Sendero Coaching.

AI Features Disclaimer

Sendero Coaching includes AI-powered features that allow coaches to query client data using natural language. Regarding these features:

  • AI responses are informational only and should not be treated as medical advice, clinical assessment, or diagnostic information
  • AI responses may contain errors — coaches should verify important information before making decisions
  • AI features analyze data you provide through the platform and connected integrations
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated insights
  • Coaches remain solely responsible for all clinical and coaching decisions

Subscription and Payment

Plans and Pricing

The Service is offered through subscription plans with varying features and limits. Current pricing and features are displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup
  • Payment is processed through Stripe. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded and data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

By using Sendero Coaching, you agree to:

  • Provide Accurate Information: Supply truthful and accurate information when creating your account and using the Service
  • Maintain Account Security: Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Comply with Third-Party Terms: Adhere to the terms of service and acceptable use policies of any integrated services you connect (Oura, Strava, Garmin, etc.)
  • Use the Service Lawfully: Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Respect Intellectual Property: Not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service
  • Client Consent: If you are a coach, ensure that you have obtained appropriate consent from your clients before connecting their wearable devices or entering their data into the Service

Third-Party Services & Integrations

Sendero Coaching integrates with third-party services including wearable devices and health data platforms. Your use of these integrations is subject to the following terms:

Wearable Device Integrations

When you connect a wearable device to Sendero Coaching, you acknowledge that:

  • Each device manufacturer is a separate company and third-party service provider
  • Your relationship with each device manufacturer is governed by their own terms and policies
  • We are not responsible for third-party services, data accuracy, or availability
  • Integration availability may change if third-party providers modify their APIs or terms

Oura Ring

The Service's integration with Oura Ring is subject to Oura's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Oura is a separate company, and we are not affiliated with Oura Health Oy.

Strava

The Service's integration with Strava is subject to the Strava API Agreement and Strava Terms of Service. Strava is a separate company, and we are not affiliated with Strava, Inc.

Other Integrations

WHOOP, Garmin Connect, Keto-Mojo, and Apple Health integrations (when available) are each subject to their respective provider's terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties for Third-Party Services

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OURA, STRAVA, WHOOP, GARMIN, KETO-MOJO, APPLE HEALTH, AND OTHER WEARABLE DEVICE PROVIDERS, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF DATA PROVIDED BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

Limitation of Liability for Third-Party Services

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEST COAST DIGITAL VENTURES LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OURA, STRAVA, WHOOP, GARMIN, KETO-MOJO, APPLE HEALTH, AND OTHER WEARABLE DEVICE PROVIDERS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (A) THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIRD-PARTY SERVICES; (B) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA BY THIRD PARTIES; (C) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS; OR (D) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Service, including AI-generated insights
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless West Coast Digital Ventures LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Any coaching decisions or advice you provide using data obtained through the Service

Data and Termination

Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@senderocoaching.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Data Deletion Upon Termination

Upon termination of your account, all wearable device data and personal information will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy as described in our Privacy Policy. Specifically:

  • Wearable device data will be deleted within 30 days of account termination
  • If you revoke OAuth access to a connected device, that device's data will be deleted immediately
  • We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by West Coast Digital Ventures LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Sendero Coaching is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura Health Oy, Strava Inc., WHOOP Inc., Garmin Ltd., Keto-Mojo, or Apple Inc. All respective trademarks are the property of their owners.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and West Coast Digital Ventures LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
